Karen Clarise Crothers

Karen Clarise Crothers 1944-2020 Karen Clarise Crothers, a mother of 4, a wife of 58 years, a friend to many, a maker of beautiful art, and a wonderful human being passed on December 31st after many years of struggling with Cancer and other health issues. She never lost her fighting spirit and remained positive throughout it all. Besides her unwavering positivity, she will be especially remembered for her sheer talent. She created masterful folk art painting on multiple surface types ranging from canvas to metal to wood. She was also a budding quilter! In her younger days, she enjoyed bowling, card night with the girls, held a bountiful real estate career, and was able to travel some to Europe and the Caribbean. She took care of her siblings growing up, then her own kids, and then her Grandkids, too at times. She had the most beautiful bluest of blue eyes, brighter than the Hawaiian seas! She was a unique soul and will be sorely missed.
