Martha Madrid

Martha Mae Madrid age 90, died peacefully at Morning Star memory care on April 15, 2025 in the arms of her loving daughter Sandra.

Martha was born in Clayton, NM and was raised in Clayton and in Santa Fe NM. She was a devoted mother and grandmother until her passing.

She was married for nearly 60 years to her life - long love, Solomon Madrid. Martha was a devoted Catholic and member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She worked for the state of New Mexico for many years before deciding to become a full - time mom and grandmother.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents Filiberto and Stella CdeBaca, her husband Solomon Madrid, her son Kenny Madrid, granddaughter Brittany Madrid, brothers Roland, Esquiel, Richie, Ray, and Andrew.

Martha is survived by her children Steve(Theresa), Michael and Sandra(Andy), grand kids,

 Jessica(Josh), Brenda(Russel), Francine(Gio), Christopher(Melissa), Daniel(Madison) and Brandi(Devin), 12 great-grand kids, her beloved sister Veronica, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 4th street NW , Albuquerque, NM 87114 on Thursday may 1st. Rosary will be recited at 8:00 followed by mass at 9:00. A reception will take place after the mass at the Nativity parish hall. Burial will occur at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 PM on Tuesday May 6th.
