Michael Montoya

The Lord called home one of his Angels, Michael Montoya on Monday October 12, 2020. Michael was taken too soon as he lost his battle with cancer; but as the Lord made a place for him in heaven, he passed away peacefully surrounded by family that loved and cared for him as he took his final breath and took his place next to the Lord. Michael was born on March 20, 1957 to Manuel Sanchez Montoya and Celia Beatrice Sanchez. Michael was the brother to Jerry Montoya, Jimmy Montoya, Virginia Maes, Manuel Montoya Jr., Reuben Montoya, Carlos Montoya, Henry Montoya and Larry Montoya. Michael will be laid to rest on October 19, 2020 at St. Jude Church, Hwy 70, Mile Marker 281, San Patricio, NM 88348. Services will start at 11:00 am, starting with a viewing then a rosary, mass and burial to follow. A reception will be held immediately following the burial at Tia Madalina Mantano's home. The eulogy will be presented by Benjamin Montoya and pallbearers include Louis Montoya, Orlando Montoya, Reuben Montoya, Lawrence Montoya, Ricky Montano, Chito Montano and Carlos Sandoval.
