Peter A. Quintana

Peter A. Quintana, a resident of Chimayo, New Mexico, was born into this world on May 7, 1980, and as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident, he left this earth to meet his Creator on February 24, 2019. Peter is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Pete L. Vigil, Sr., paternal grandparents Pete and Julia Quintana. Nieces: Mercedes Carter and Candace Quintana. Uncles: Tommy Vigil, Bobby, Julian, Tim and Roland Quintana. Peter is survived by his beautiful daughter Anisha Rodriguez, his mother Marie Carter and grandmother Adelia Vigil of Chimayo, his father Max Quintana and wife Mickie of San Pedro. Three sisters: Mary Maxine Carter, Monica (Rudy) Garcia and Andrea (Dion) Quintana. Three brothers: Brandon Aragon Carter, Max Quintana, Michael (Michele) Quintana and Daniel Quintana. Godparents: Frances Vigil and Louie Maestas. Uncles: Jimmy (Helen) Vigil, David (Veronica) Vigil, Pete Jr. (Shirley) Vigil, Benny Vigil, Gene Quintana, and Joseph (Rosella) Quintana. Aunts: Frances Vigil, Julia Martinez, Dolores Martinez, Patsy Murray, Cristella (Leland) Maestas and Irene (Max) Martinez and Patricia Quintana. Nieces: Alexis Carter, Abriana Baca, Alicia and Brittany Quintana, Deanna Lyons and Airiana Rael. Nephews: Michael and Brandon Quintana, Eric and Andrew Garcia, Antonio Marioni, Devin and Deegan Lucero. Seven great nieces and nephews and one goddaughter: Leslie Vigil. Peter is also survived by numerous cousins and friends who love him very much and will cherish all the wonderful memories and fun times. Serving as pallbearers are those who held a special place in their hearts for Peter. They include: James Vigil, David Vigil, Benny Vigil, Jr., Pete Vigil III, Valerie Maestas, Jimmy Vigil, Ralph, Edward, Matthew, Max and Eli Martinez, Manuel Jaramillo and Ramsey Garcia. Honorary pallbearers include: Crescencio Ochoa and Jose Carmona. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2019 at 7:00 PM at El Buen Pastor Church in Espanola, NM. Funeral and celebration of Peter's life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM also at El Buen Pastor Church.
