Sandra Chavez

On Friday, May 3, 2019, Sandra Chavez, loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt, passed away at age 41. Sandra was born on June 28, 1977 in Juarez, Mexico. Daughter of Ramon Castillo and Patricia Chavez. Sandra was known for her great sense of humor, laughter, kind and companionate spirit. She was very social. There was nothing Sandra liked better than an interesting conversation with a good (or new) friend. Sandra could have an engaging conversation with anyone. Sandra also loved to dance. She was even planning to perform a surprise dance at her niece's Quinceanera next year. She loved her family and friends. Her niece and nephews were her heart and joy, there is no denying that. Sandra would spend as much time with them as she could. Sandra was a long-time resident of Albuquerque. Sandra graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1995. During her years in AHS Sandra befriended many people who kept in contact with her throughout the years. Sandra is survived by her grandparents Petra and Casimiro Chavez. Her mother Patricia Chavez her father Ramon Castillo. Her two siblings Violeta and Jose and her niece Jennie and nephews Yahir and Jose. She also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends.
