Veronica Lynn Garcia

Veronica "Ronnie" Garcia, beautiful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and wonderful friend went to be with the lord, and joined her mother and sister in eternal rest, on October 18, 2024.

Ronnie was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Sandia High School in 2000. Growing up Ronnie excelled in her favorite sport, softball, and made all-stars numerous times. In high school she played volleyball and basketball. Her athletic abilities gave way to the hustler mentality which she was a natural. Ronnie loved the city where she was raised and held a variety of different jobs which she excelled in and always promoted into a management position. She was one of a kind hustler and remained so until her last breath.

There wasn't a single person that Ronnie wouldn't help and she opened up her home to anyone who needed it. She was the person to go to when you needed help with a problem. She learned this from her mother who was exactly the same way.

Ronnie is survived by her children Antonio, Imani and Amaiya Castaneda; father Barry Garcia; brothers Jerome and James Garcia, Darryus Chavez; nieces Laurah and Irisa Garcia, Jada Hernandez, Michelle Lopez. Nephews Dominic and D'Angelo Garcia; great nephews Jayden Warner, Elijah, Izayah and Messiah Garcia; grandmother Catherine Shorty; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother Leonore Garcia and sister Laurah Chavez Ronnie was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
