It is the deepest sorrow we announced the passing of Charlotte Ann Wheeler (Seay) who passed away May 4, 2025.

 Charlotte was born June 9, 1949 and let life filled with profound integrity and enjoy. A woman with exceptional strength and grace. Charlotte contributed to the world went far beyond her personal and professional achievements.

She had a deep root belief and everyday kindness and ceaseless dedication to helping others. Qualities that made her a beacon of life in the lives of many.

Those who knew Charlotte will remember her not only for her remarkable achievements, but also for her character, her boundless generosity, her unwavering resolve and her contagious laughter. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we mourn the departure of Charlotte. We also celebrate the extraordinary life that she lived. And while our hearts are heavy we take comfort and knowing Charlotte’s life was characterized by a vibrant family.

Charlotte is proceeded in death by her mother and father Ethel and Howard Seay. And one nephew Chad Seay.

Charlotte survived by her three daughters, Carla Newton and her partner Russell, Hillary Anderson and her daughter Geneva Anderson, and her partner Charlie, Savannah Anderson and Alyssa Baca, Anastacia Barrett her partner Randy and her son JJ. One son Roy Barrett his wife Vanessa, and their children Lee and Patience. Charlotte also had two beautiful, great granddaughters Angelina Anne and Charlotte Jane both her namesake. She is also survived by one brother Mark Seay, three sisters Sheryl Tucker, Carol Barton and Stacey Lincoln and husband Norm. Sister-in-law Linda Seay. Her good friend Anthony Gurule and her best friend Hazel Paiz.

She was also deeply loved by many nieces, nephews, the number of whom is to vast  to mention individually, but her large family was her pride and joy. She relished each, and every moment spent with them. Each one cherished and loved by her in return.

Throughout her lifetime, Charlotte assumed many roles with grace and dignity as a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend she was our rock. Her resilience and unwavering love was ever present.

Proving a comforting support system for all those who sought her guidance. In addition to her role at home Charlotte was in an accomplished career woman. Her professional pursuit even took her abroad where she had the privilege of spending time in the European Royalty who she was proud to call her friends.  Her ability to balance her career and family was a testament to her strength and commitment.

Charlotte experience many adventures in her lifetime, But found her ultimate solace in familiar surroundings. Eventually, returning to Albuquerque settling in on a very property and house in which she grew up in and loved so much

The comfort and peace she found in this place palpable. A testament to her enduring love for her roots. In the wake of her passing she leaves behind avoid that can never be filled. Yet her spirit lives on in the love and the memories that each surviving family member, friend and respected acquaintance carry on in their hearts.

Her guidance support and boundless love have undoubtedly left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
