Lucille Green

Lucille Green, a devoted Mother, grandmother, and auntie passed away at home on May 16, 2026.

Lucille was born in Midville, Georgia to Albert and Sadie Williams. She endeared herself to all those she met with her sassy personality and quick wit. Her life was equally divided between New York City, Colorado Springs, CO, Fort Valley, GA and finally Rio Communities New Mexico. Her career began as a Computer Operator, Retail Salesclerk, and finally as a homemaker.

She married Croslen Lewis in 1954 and welcomed their son Eric into the world in 1954.

She later married her beloved Alvin Green in 1968.

She is survived by son Eric and granddaughter Erica Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Alvin and infant son Christopher.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 28th at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 To 9:45 follow by the Rosery From 9:45 to 10:30 with a Funeral Mass and graveside service to follow. There will be a repass in the church fellowship hall following the burial.

The Family ask that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made in honor of Lucille Green to Saint Jude’s Hospital.
