It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, grandfather and Tata. Ricardo “Rick” DeAnda SR, who passed away peacefully on 06/15/2025 at the age of 72.

Ricardo was more than just a Husband, Father, grandfather, and Tata he was a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love. He lived a life full of kindness, hard work, and dedication to his family and the Lord. He touched the lives of many through his generosity and unwavering sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Molly DeAnda, Son Rick DeAnda Jr. Daughters, Marie Otero, Joyce DeAnda, and Sandy Fabian. Son in laws, Dominic Otero, Eric Baros, and Jose Fabian. Granddaughters Tiffany Lopez, Josette Baros, Alexandra DeAnda, CaSandra Fabian, Sabrina Fabian, Marisella Fabian and wife Savannah Garcia, and Yessenia Fabian. Grandsons Leon Lopez, Jose Fabian III and wife Demetria Fabian, Adrian Olguin, and 13 great grandchildren. Brothers George DeAnda and David DeAnda. Sisters Sarah Pacheco, Adela Alderete, Aurora Somera, and Eva Garcia. All of whom will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his Mother Carmen DeAnda, Father Lorenzo DeAnda, Siblings Merdy DeAnda, Tony DeAnda and Juanita Alling, Daughter in Law Norma DeAnda and Grandson Andre Lucero.

Rick loved to play music with his kids and grandkids, he loved to watch his western shows and spend time with his family while teaching them about the lord. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and special. He was the heart of our family, always ready with a story, advice, or a warm hug. His legacy will live on in the love he gave and the lessons he taught us.

A funeral service will be held on 06/26/2025 at Christian Fellowship Church at 2:00 pm visitation, 3:00 PM service, with a celebration of life to follow at 4:00pm. The family welcomes all who knew and loved him to join in celebrating his life.

We will miss him deeply but find comfort in knowing he is now at peace. His love lives on in us.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Misty, RN his home hospice nurse and the caring team at Presbyterian Inpatient Hospice Unit for the extraordinary compassion, comfort, and dignity they provided during Rick’s final days.
