Marcos Cordova

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, Marcos Cordova, loving husband and father of four children, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with lung cancer at the age of 63. 

Marcos will be remembered for his absolute captivating passion for his wife and his unwavering devotion to his children.  

Marcos was born on October 4, 1961 in Santa Fe, NM to Ricardo and Flora Cordova. He was the youngest out of 11 children. He was a hard working man, a skilled hunter and avid outdoorsman. On February 14, 1984 he married his kindred soul, Anna Maria Nieto. Together they raised and provided for two sons, Mark and Matthew along with two daughters Jovan and Joleen. 

He lived his life outside and was always creating beautiful things with his hands. He loved to hunt, fish, garden, landscape and go thrifting. He was so happy to be a father and so proud when he became a grandpa. 

Marcos is preceded in death by his parents Ricardo and Flora as well as three siblings, Joseph, Vidal and Richard. He is survived by his wife Anna, his four children, Mark (Nicholle), Jovan (Lawrence), Matthew and Joleen. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Kyra, Elias and Andres as well as his older siblings, Susie, Lupe, Maria Tomasita, Annie, Raymond, Bertha and Larry.

Services for Marcos will take place on February 15, 2025 at 11 AM at The Light at Mission Vejo, followed by a reception in the reception hall.
