Sonya Nichole Garcia Remigio

Sonya Nichole Garcia Remigio, born on August 24, 1979, departed this life on June 28, 2026, at her residence in Aurora, Colorado. Her passing leaves a deep absence in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and hers is a life remembered with profound respect.

Sonya’s journey began in 1979, and throughout her years she demonstrated kindness, resilience, and a warmth that touched family and friends alike. She was a daughter of Beverly Jean Molina, who survives her and continues to cherish the memories they created together, along with her siblings, nieces and nephews and a host of famly and friends. Sonya was also the beloved daughter of the late Manuel Jesus Molina-Romero, whose memory remains a guiding presence in the lives of those he left behind.

Her passing will be mourned by her mother, family, and all whose lives she graced. Though preceded in death by her father, Sonya's spirit endures in the enduring bonds of family and in cherished memories.

A visitation for Sonya Nichole Garcia Remigio will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home-Aurora, located at 15150 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO 80014. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same location from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All who wish to honor Sonya’s memory are welcome to attend.
