Alfred Fritz Quintana
Nov 1, 1934 — Apr 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alfred "Fritz" Quintana, who left us on April 12, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on November 1, 1934, in San Acacio, Colorado, Fritz was a beacon of positivity, love, and inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Fritz dedicated a part of his early life to serving his country as a proud Marine from 1953 to 1957. His commitment to service was a testament to his character—strong, loyal, and unwavering. These traits defined not only his military service but also the way he lived each day thereafter. In his personal life, Fritz was known for his infectious energy and his ability to light up any room. He had a warmth that invited kindness, making friends wherever he went and always sharing a laugh or a joke. Fritz believed in the power of connection, often stating that a smile could change someone's day; he took that philosophy to heart and practiced it freely. Survived by his devoted wife Elaine, with whom he shared 65 beautiful years of marriage, Fritz exemplified what it meant to be a faithful and loving partner. He was a cherished father to his daughter Annette (Jess), an adoring grandfather to Matthew (Regina), Clarissa (Frankie), and Janelle, and a beloved brother to Sarah, Arlene, Theresa, and Jeannie. His family was his pride and joy, with spending time with them a highlight of his life. Unfortunately, he was preceded in death by his parents, Silverio and Amalia Quintana, and sons Dirk and Darryl Quintana, as well as his granddaughter DaVonne and siblings Eusebio, Eddie, Larry, Fred, Tony, Johnny, Della and Susan. Their memories remained etched in his heart, fostering a legacy of love and remembrance. Fritz's passion for life extended to the outdoors, where he found great joy in caring for his yard, hunting, fishing, and camping. With each adventure in nature, he cultivated a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around him. Above all, his profound faith in God was the bedrock of his life, guiding him and nurturing his spirit as he shared love and laughter with his grandchildren. The influence that Fritz had on those around him will forever resonate. His kindness, humor, and zest for life inspired not only his family and friends but also everyone he encountered throughout his remarkable journey. While he may no longer walk among us, his legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him. A public viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home, located at 4750 Tejon Street, Denver, Colorado, 80211, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 1 PM to 4 PM Please see below for memorial service details dates and times. Fritz Quintana lived a life full of love, vibrancy, and unwavering faith. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered as an inspiration to us all.
