She was a graduate of Pueblo Centennial in 1972, she married Richard Ballejos on April 7, 1973.
She was a woman of faith and loved God with all her heart. She taught us forgiveness and made sure she showed us how to love one another. She showed us to always put God first. Her favorite verse in the Bible is Psalm 23.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt.
Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, she lived there for 60 years. She then moved to Lakewood in 2012 to be with her children and grandchildren. Five years later, she found a stable apartment in Wheat Ridge. She loved to spend her time serving the Lord, as well as her family.
During her time in Pueblo, she was a volunteer at Irving Elementary School in the computer lab. She loved to bake and taught her children how to cook simple meals. Her favorites included homemade chili beans, sopapillas, green chile chicken enchiladas, and many different cookies, cakes, pies, and homemade frostings of all sorts.
