Cynthia Ann Duffy

June 12, 1956 — May 31, 2026

Cynthia Ann Duffy, born on July 12, 1956, in Denver, Colorado, peacefully passed away on May 31, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado. Her departure leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her vibrant spirit and the memories she created will forever remain cherished.

Cynthia was a woman of contrasts—fun and loving, yet moody and unyielding at times. She was family-oriented through and through. Though she had a hardened exterior, those who truly knew Cynthia understood the warmth beneath—a warmth often expressed through her unique love language of sarcasm. She enjoyed giving people a hard time, a playful teasing that drew smiles even in difficult moments.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially immersing herself in the company of family and friends. Outdoor gatherings, picnics, and barbecues were some of her favorite ways to connect and celebrate life’s moments with those she loved. These times allowed her spirit to shine brightest, surrounded by laughter and shared stories under open skies.

Cynthia is survived by her three devoted daughters, Rae Antoinette, Christina, and Veronica, who carry forward her legacy and love. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Arlene, Ethel (Ron), and Louise, whose bonds with her were a testament to the strength of family ties that Cynthia held dear.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Viola and Eugene, whose memory she honored throughout her life, and by her daughter Damianna, whose absence is deeply felt but whose spirit lives on within the family.

A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home-Lakewood, located at 1805 S Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood, Colorado, 80232, on June 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Following the viewing, a memorial service will commence at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at 11:30 a.m. at the same location.

Though Cynthia’s journey has ended, her story, marked by humor, devotion, and an indomitable spirit, remains alive in the hearts of all who loved her. She touched lives with her presence and will be dearly missed but fondly remembered as the cherished soul who was as complex and as vibrant as the life she lived.
