Darlene Geraldine Martinez, age 76, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.

Darlene was born on May 30, 1950, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Ray and Isabel Martinez. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was the proud and loving mother of Christie (Mark) Baca and Robert (Tina) Gonzales. She was also a devoted grandmother to Jesse (Sarah) and Joey, who brought her endless joy.

Darlene is survived by her siblings: Ruth (Bob) Martinez, Kathy (Al) Gallegos, Renee (Joe) Archuleta, and Ray (Bernadette) Martinez, Leroy (Jill) Martinez, Brother in-law Art. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ron Martinez and Robert Martinez, her sister Lucille Cordova. She also leaves behind several beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Darlene was known for her bubbly personality, infectious smile, and contagious laughter. She had a heart that welcomed everyone, a stubborn streak that those who loved her knew well, and a wonderful sense of humor. She found joy in collecting Betty Boop memorabilia, playing bingo, and trying her luck at the casino. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and friends.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered with every smile, laugh, and cherished story shared.
