Gabriel Valentine Apodaca, born on May 7, 1982, in Denver, Colorado, to parents Gabriel Naranjo & Virginia Apodaca. Gabriel departed this world on Sunday June 14, 2026, Gabriel’s story is a testament to a life lived with authenticity, kindness, and deep-rooted connection.

From his earliest days, Gabriel’s heart was open and his spirit high.. He grew up surrounded by his siblings, where he shared a love for making music breakdancing & sports. As a young adult Gabriel committed to creating a sold bond with his 3 children. Later, learning & navigating being a grandparent. Family has always been important to Gabriel—it was his anchor, a place where the chapters of his life unfolded with love, hope, and unwavering loyalty.

Gabriel was a man defined not only for showing unwavering love to his family. but also by the quiet acts of generosity and empathy that marked his every day. His genuine compassion for others illuminated even the darkest moments, making him a true trustworthy confidant to those fortunate enough to know him.

Gabe is survived by his children, siblings mother nieces and nephews and grandchildren. And many more family members who love and adore Gabriel.

In honoring Gabriel’s life and memory, services will take place at Romero Funeral Home-Lakewood, 1805 S Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80232. A memorial gathering will be held on July 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friends, neighbors, and all whose lives were touched by Gabriel are invited to join in reflecting on a life well-lived and a spirit never to be forgotten.

Though Gabriel Valentine Apodaca’s journey through this world ends, the light he brought to it will never fade. We remember him with affection, honor his memory with gratitude, and hold close the lasting imprint of his gentle soul.
