Marilyn Carrasco, a beacon of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication, passed away on May 26, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Denver, Colorado. Born on May 17, 1943, Marilyn lived a life that touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy steeped in warmth, generosity, and family devotion.

Marilyn was a woman whose heart overflowed with compassion and selflessness. A hardworking and humble soul, she embodied a rare blend of strength and vulnerability. Her kindness was limitless, and she was never one to judge, always extending empathy and understanding to those around her. She was a pillar of dependability, someone anyone could call upon for advice, comfort, or simply a listening ear. In her eyes, family was everything, and her role as a mother was her proudest accomplishment.

Her home was a sanctuary filled with the irresistible aroma of home-cooked meals and the sweet scent of Christmas cookies – a tradition she cherished deeply. Marilyn loved to cook and bake, pouring love into every dish, and never hesitating to offer something delicious to anyone who visited. Christmas was her favorite time of year, a season she eagerly anticipated, celebrating with joy and an open heart.

Outside the kitchen, Marilyn found joy in her garden where she nurtured both flowers and vegetables with gentle care. She delighted in simple pleasures like word searches, ceramics, and thrifting, activities that brought her peace and satisfaction. Marilyn’s family was her greatest treasure. She is lovingly remembered by her former Husband Manny, Daughter Brenda, Son Anthony, siblings Max, Charlene, Richard "Bucky," Debbie, and Donna, as well as her fur babies Dilly and Lil'Bit. She was also surrounded by numerous other cherished family members and friends who were blessed to share in her warmth and wisdom. Sadly, she joins her parents, son Brian, and several siblings who preceded her in death.

Marilyn Carrasco’s life was a tapestry woven with love, sacrifice, and an enduring commitment to others. She leaves behind a world made brighter by her presence, a family grounded in her example, and countless lives enriched by her kindness. Though she has departed from this world, the love she sowed will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Marilyn. Your nurturing hands and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
