Mark Adrian Padilla
July 7, 1982 — October 21, 2023
Mark Adrian Padilla was born in Denver, CO on July 7, 1982 to Yvette Padilla and Mark Vargas. He was adopted by his Uncle Raul Padilla at age 8 and lived with him until his late 20’s. Mark was very social and beloved by his many friends and family members. Mark’s simplicity and childlike mindset is what made him so beloved by many. He had a tender heart towards helping out the less fortunate, but sometimes to his detriment. He enjoyed dogs which was evident by the number of dog photos at his apartment. He also enjoyed tinkering with electronic devices of which he had numerous.
Mark could be seen riding his bike around the Colorado Front Range at all hours of the day and night going to and from friends’ houses. Some of his epic bike rides were from Aurora to South Colorado Springs and back, and from Aurora to Elbert, CO and back. He attempted to ride his bike to Wiggins, CO, but that trip was cut short after ending up in a wheat field south of DIA due to bad directions from his GPS.
Mark passed away on October 21st, 2023 after a long battle from complications of an autoimmune disease. He is survived by Uncle Raul Padilla, his brother Matthew, other uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Yvette and his remains will be placed next to hers in the Padilla Family Cemetery in the beautiful area of Las Vegas, NM.
