Pio Quinto Zambrano Jr.

Pio Quinto Zambrano Jr., lovingly known as “Bud", passed away on May 19, 2026, in Denver, Colorado, after a long battle with cancer. He was 61 years old.

Born on August 30, 1964, in Denver,, Bud was a proud Denver native with a strong work ethic. Raised with deep morals and values from a young age, Bud lived his life with integrity, loyalty, and hardworking principles that stayed with him throughout his life. He attended All Saints School, graduated from Mullen High School in 1982, and later studied at Fort Lewis College in Durango.

Bud worked as an electrician for many years and was extremely proud to be part of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), where he built lasting friendships and took great pride in his trade. He later finished his career with Lockheed Martin. Bud was known for being honest, dependable, hardworking, and someone who never hesitated to help others.

He will always be remembered for his humor and quick wit. Bud loved making people laugh and always had something funny to say with his sharp sense of humor, even during difficult times. He had a big heart for the people he loved most.

He enjoyed muscle cars, motorcycles, fishing, camping, car shows, cooking, and watching Jeopardy. He was a diehard Denver Broncos fan and an all-around Denver sports fan.

Above everything else, Bud loved his four children deeply and was incredibly proud of each of them. His family meant the world to him, and he never stopped loving and supporting them.

Bud is survived by his mother, JoAnn “Maxey”; his sons, Daniel, David, and Vincent; his daughter, Sophia; his sister, Danielle; and his nephew, Cameron. He was preceded in death by his father, Pio Zambrano Sr.

Bud was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. His laughter, strength, loyalty, and love for his family will never be forgotten.


Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, followed by the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to stay and gather in remembrance until 2:00 p.m
