A beyond-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and pillar of his community, William ‘Eric’ Webb, 60, of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home the morning of May 11th, 2026. He was born in Lubbock, Texas December 6th, 1965 to his parents, Donald Ray Webb and Doris Inge Milbrodt Webb. He moved and lived in Germany for 11 years of his life and moved to Copperascove, Texas until his graduation from Copperascove High School and leaving for basic training for the United States Air Force in 1984. He returned in 1985 to marry his high school sweetheart, Matina Parker. He was an athlete for his high school as well as a competitive fisherman with his father. While active duty, Eric received numerous awards, accolades, certifications and his associates degree.

Eric served in the United States Air Force from 1984-2008, first as a corrosion specialist and then as aircrew life support technician for fighter and bomber aircrafts and a survival trainer for airmen. He finished out the remainder of his service in Mountain Home from 2001-2008 where he retired as a Technical Sgt. Following shortly after his retirement, Eric joined PKL services and continued his work in life support leading to a leadership and supervisor position in the company where he continued to improve the quality and safety of fighter planes and aiding in training airmen for both the United States and Singeporean governments. He loved both of his careers and was proud to be a United States veteran and a part of the USAF.

Eric was a pillar of the Mountain Home community being an active and lifetime member in the Gold Panner’s Association and Hawg Hunters Fishing Club, two of his biggest passions and hobbies, and supported the local arts as a band parent and continued as the band booster president, as well as coaching for the Junior High and Mountain Home High School football teams as a volunteer from and being an active parent in the Mountain Man Wrestling club. Eric believed in supporting local sports and art as well as supporting the children and community who participated in them. He also believed in cherishing and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends whenever possible; he was always prepared for any situation and always ready to hit the mountains or the lake.

Eric is survived by his loving wife of 41 years as of May 31st, 2026, Matina Parker Webb, whom he shared 42 years of life, love and adventures with.
