Carolyn Judith Scheuer

Death is to fall asleep in the arms of Jesus and wake up to find out you're home.

Carolyn Judith Scheuer, a vibrant and deeply loved woman, passed away on June 09, 2025. Born in North Dakota, Carolyn spent the majority of her years in California. She graduated from Armijo High School in Fairfield, California and went on to live a life full of energy, love, and faith. Carolyn was known for her joyful spirit and endless enthusiasm. She loved to travel, never missed an opportunity to stop and dance to the music, always hosted events, had an amazing green thumb, and an incredible eye for interior design. She was always on the move and always finding beauty in the world around her.  Her warm heart, unwavering faith as a Christian, and deep love for her family touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed. Carolyn is survived by her children, Ashley and Shae; her father, John A. Reyes, and his wife, Renai Reyes; her brother, John "Cory" Reyes, and his wife, Rachel Reyes; her sister, Michelle Reyes; her beloved partner, Jeff Potempa, and his children; plus the many grandchildren that were the pride and joy of her life. Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, partner and friend - her presence brought joy to so many.  To know Carolyn was to love her. Her laughter, energy, and charisma will never be forgotten.
