Reymundo Chavez Contreras

Reymundo C. Contreras was born on June 05,1948 to Isaura and Luis Contreras. He was raised in the neighborhood of Campito in Phoenix, Arizona, along with 25 brothers and sisters. With such a big family, he had to venture out on his own into the army, where he served one tour in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He continued to fight battles in which we all never fully understood. His greatest battle, in which he lost his life was to colon cancer. Heaven gained another hero on March 19,2016. He is survived by his wife Socorro Contreras, his 5 kids, 9 grand kids, 7 brothers, and 8 sisters. We will continue to keep his memory alive by sharing all the laughter we had together
