51, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on December 19, 2014. He was a beloved father, friend and mentor. Terry was born in Phoenix, AZ on December 7th, 1963 to Delroy and Esther Western. He was a wonderful, supportive father to his son, Dallen James Western. Terry grew up in Phoenix and went to Washington High School where he played Football, wrote funny stories and made numerous lifelong friends. He attended Central Arizona College and loved the Rodeo; he followed the Rodeo circuit where he rode Broncs and Team Roped. He had a love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He worked for the family business, Western's School of Horseshoeing for many years before taking it over. He mentored many students all over the world and is recognized in the Arizona Farriers Association. Terry was always well respected in the community and never knew a stranger; once people met Terry they instantly felt he was a friend. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he had the opportunity to hold many positions of service. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America for many years. Terry is well known for his great sense of humor and caring demeanor. He is survived by his son Dallen Western and ex-wife, Lynda Western. Services will be held at LDS Church building located at 8602 N. 31st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ on January 3, 2015. Terry's wish was not to have a viewing; however there will be a family gathering time to pay respects and condolences in the Family Relief Room at the Church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held inside the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Terry Western's name to Boy Scouts of America, Troop #525 C/O LDS Church Black Canyon Ward, Bishop Jack Mecham, 3244 W. Stella Ln., Phoenix, AZ 85017
