Frank D. Auge, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, in the home he had lived in and loved for more than 50 years. Born on November 23, 1941, Frank lived a life rooted in service, hard work, and an abiding love for family.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force, a chapter of his life that spoke to his dedication, discipline, and deep love for his country. Following his military service, Frank built a career defined by hard work and perseverance — driving trucks and devoting more than 40 years to the produce industry, earning a reputation for integrity every step of the way. A proud and committed union man, he believed firmly in standing up for working people and never wavered in that conviction. His strong work ethic was instilled early, shaped by years of working alongside his parents and siblings on the family farm in Little Canada, MN.

At heart, Frank was a family man. Some of life's most cherished moments were made in his kitchen, where he delighted in cooking large family meals and gathering everyone around the table — a place always filled with laughter, stories, and love shared freely. He treasured his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren above all else, and the pride and joy they brought him was evident to everyone who knew him. His devotion to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew no bounds — he was always ready and willing to go wherever they needed him, no question asked and no distance too far. A devoted dog lover, he had a special place in his heart for his four-legged companions, who were as much a part of the family as anyone.

Frank was the kind of neighbor people don't forget. For decades he was a familiar and reassuring presence on his street — the one who kept a watchful eye on the neighborhood and never hesitated to lend a hand. He and his neighbors shared a bond built on genuine mutual respect and care, the kind that is rare and not easily replaced.

Frank had a rare gift for connection, and throughout his life he cultivated friendships that stood the test of time. His lifelong friends knew him as someone who showed up, who could be counted on, and whose company made every moment richer.

Frank was a man of faith who quietly lived his values and gave generously to his church. He believed in being part of something larger than himself and backed that belief with his actions.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
