Jessica Marie Mooney , age 38, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026 .

Born on September 25, 1987 , in Seoul, Korea, she was lovingly adopted—along with her siblings—by Pamela and Kevin Riley , who welcomed her into a family that shaped her life with love. Jessica was known for her honesty, her humor, and the unmistakable spark she brought into every space she entered. She had a quick wit, a memorable laugh, and a way of sharing joy that left an impression on everyone around her. Her presence was unmistakable—full of personality, strength, and a spirit that made her uniquely herself. She valued the real moments in life: time spent with the people she cared about, conversations that mattered, and the memories created along the way. Jessica had a gift for making people feel included and for bringing levity when it was needed most.

Jessica is survived by her husband, James Mooney ; her daughter, Alayna , age 14; and her son, James , age 6. She is also survived by her parents, Pam and Kevin Riley ; her brothers, Robert Riley and Adam Riley ; many aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members who loved her deeply. • Memorial Mass: April 24, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Additional Information In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Children’s Hospital . In place of a luncheon, a Celebration of Life will be held on May 30, 2026 . Jessica’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
