Marilyn Ann Welsch (Nelson)
Wife, Mother, Grandmother – Age 83. Passed away at home on April 25, 2025, due to complications related to a fall. Born October 20, 1941, on the east side of St. Paul, Johnson High School class of ‘59. Preceded in death by parents David Nelson, Emma (Nadeau) Nelson, and her beloved husband Tom. Survived and deeply missed by children Threse McCarten, Michael (Brenda) Welsch, and Jackie (Glen) Wilson, along with grandchildren Olivia and Bryce Welsch.
A memorial mass will be said at Noon on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Church of St. Peter, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Visitation is 11:00 – 12:00 in the church, and mass will be followed by a luncheon. Private interment at Union Cemetery in Maplewood.
