It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Mary Allen, who departed this world on July 7, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 18, 1944, in the close-knit community of Menomonie, Wisconsin, Mary was a beacon of light to all who knew her.

Mary was the beloved daughter of Andrew and Vera Turchany, who predeceased her. She was raised in a home filled with warmth and kindness, qualities that she carried throughout her life and passed on to her own family.

Mary's life was a testament to the power of love and selflessness. She was fiercely devoted to her family, and her greatest joy came from taking care of those she loved. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were constants in the lives of her husband, Bob, her daughters, Kimberly and Kristin, and her grandchildren, Isabella, Hannah, Abigail, and Isaac. Mary’s love for her family was boundless, and her legacy of compassion and care will continue to guide them.

She is lovingly survived by her husband Bob, her daughters Kimberly (married to Dan) and Kristin (married to Keith), her adoring grandchildren, her brothers Roger Turchany (JoAnne) and Thomas (Rene') and her nieces and nephew Shanna (Joel), Jessica (Jared), Tiffany (Trent), Brenda and Bradley (Katie). Each of them carries a piece of Mary’s spirit, and they will forever cherish the moments spent with her.

Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, just as she had lived her life, enveloped in the love of those closest to her. Her gentle presence and kind heart made a difference in the lives of everyone she encountered, and her absence will be profoundly felt.

To honor Mary’s life, a service will be held on August 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Sandberg's Funeral Home at 2593 7th Avenue East, North St Paul, MN. We will be having a small service starting at 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who gave so much of herself to others.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Mary’s memory to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Her spirit of generosity and her commitment to helping others will be remembered and honored through these contributions.

Mary Allen's life was a beautiful testament to the power of love, family, and kindness. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
