Brian P. Jones

Brian P. Jones, 68 passed away on May 11, 2026, at his home in Beaufort SC, following a short battle with cancer. He was born December 21, 1957, in Southbridge, MA. Brian was preceded by his wife Miriam Jones in September 2025. Brian leaves behind his stepdaughters Kathy and Melissa Cruz who stayed by his side from the beginning of his battle with cancer along with his grandkids Treston, Isaiah, Variana and Noah, who he cherished.

He also leaves behind his sisters Sharon Parent and husband Kurt of Southbridge Ma, Sandra Smick and husband David of Southbridge, MA Donna Winston and husband Allan of Ocala Florida, Lisa Jones, Ruby Rekowski and husband Kevin of Webster, Ma. And his brothers Alan and wife Janet of Southbridge, Ma, Todd and wife Nancy of Southbridge, MA.

He is preceded in death by his father Arthur R. Jones, in 2018 and his mother Medora (Morneau) Jones, in 2022.

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Brian did serve in the Navy, and for many years was in the painting business, a job he loved to do. During his last journey of his life, he painted Beaufort History - one house at a time.
