In Loving Memory of Julius C. Branch

October 2, 1959 – July 6, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julius C. Branch, affectionately known as “Jules,” who departed this life on July 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

In memory of a man who held more in his heart than he always spoke aloud.

Jules had a way with words, a thoughtful mind, and a spirit that felt deeply. Through his writing, he left pieces of himself behind—reflections, memories, and truths that will continue to speak even now.

Julius was born on October 2, 1959, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to Willie Branch and Audrey (Davis) Branch. He attended John Adams High School and spent most of his life in Queens, New York, where he built lasting friendships and memories.

Throughout his life, Jules was known for his strong work ethic. He was employed by Hudson General and later by Sleepy’s Mattress Store, where he was respected for his dedication and commitment.

Though often quiet, Jules possessed a depth of thought and emotion that was reflected in his writing and in the way he loved those closest to him. His words offered insight into his heart and remain a lasting gift to all who knew him.

Julius is lovingly remembered by his mother, Audrey; his former wife, Amy, whose compassion and devoted care brought him comfort during his final years; his daughters, Chanel, Chevonne, and Chantel; his grandchildren, Kenny, Alaina, Jhené, and J’Adore; his brother, NaShawn; his sister, Gwen; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by his presence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Branch, and his sisters, Shawaun and Karen, with whom he is now reunited in eternal peace.

In honor of Julius’s memory and his lasting gift to others, the family chose to donate his tissue through Sharing Hope SC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to tissue and organ donation. It is our hope that this final act of generosity will bring healing to others and serve as a lasting reflection of a life that continues to make a difference beyond his years.

Jules’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy endures through his family and through those whose lives have been touched by his final gift.
