Loretta Ann Powell passed away peacefully under the care of hospice on May 4, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Agnes Binnarr and Edgar Binnarr of Goose Creek SC and her sister, Kathy Ward. She is survived by her life partner Johnny Locklear of Goose Creek SC, daughter Annie Powell of Goose Creek SC, sons Shan Whalley Sr. of Goose Creek SC, Joseph Powell of Ladson SC, Tim Powell of Goose Creek SC, Brian Binnarr of Goose Creek SC, sister Tommie Peeples, brothers Carl ’Rusty’ Binnarr and Mitch Binnarr, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Loretta lived an independent life devoted to family and close friends. She loved gardening and was an excellent floral arranger.
