Nicholas A Costanzo
July 29, 1951 — May 6, 2025
Nicholas A. Costanzo, 73, husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend, passed away on May 6th, 2025 in Charleston, South Carolina. Nick was preceded in death by his mother and father, Rose and James Costanzo, Pittston, PA. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Costanzo, daughter Marla Costanzo, son and wife Michael and Heather Costanzo, Grandsons Nicholas J., Demetri V., Luca M. and Vincenzo S. Costanzo, brother and wife Angelo and Jo-Ann Costanzo, Wilmington DE, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Nick will be cremated at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, Ladson SC. Nick’s family is organizing a public memorial from 5:00 - 6:30 pm on May 16th at Journey Church, 355 Treeland Dr., Ladson SC, and asks that anyone with fond memories, stories or keepsakes to feel free to attend and share. The family also invites all friends to share in food and drink at a celebration of life at 7:00 pm immediately afterwards at the Hunter’s Bend Amenity Center, 1200 Discovery Dr., Ladson SC. Finally, Nick’s remains will be laid to rest at St. Rocco’s cemetery in Pittston, PA following a catholic ceremony in June, date and time to be determined.
Nick will be remembered as a master storyteller and comedian, whose quick wit and affable nature made him a friend to all who crossed paths with him. He was also a hard worker in all his endeavors as well as an avid family-man, spending countless hours with his grandsons since moving to South Carolina in 2022.
