In Loving Memory of Rose Mary Wolff (Fennell) 

 April 3, 1940 – April 26, 2025 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Mary Wolff of Charleston, SC. 

Rosie was a Christian woman born in Fairfax, SC and dedicated her life to her family and friends. Rosie loved to travel, go fishing, bowl, and shoot pool. She owned Rosie’s Lounge for nearly 20 years and was adored by everyone who walked through the doors. There was not a person who met her who was not moved by her infectious personality, where she’d mix you up a martini (a recipe she perfected over the years), and treat you like family. To know her was to love her and all the spunkiness that came with her.  

Known lovingly as “The Warden,” she commanded a room, while teaching her grand & great-grandchildren to be unapologetically themselves. She will be remembered as a vibrant woman who lived life on her own terms. She is irreplaceable, and her passing leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of many. 

Rosie is survived by her children, Deborah Wolff Joyner (Brian Joyner), Troy Wolff (Candace Wolff); grandchildren, Audry Willingham (Doug Willingham), Kendall Snead (Josh Wagner), Jenna McClure (David Simmons), and Jackolynn Wolff; great grandchildren, Douglass Willingham III, Adrianna Willingham, Adelyn Lacey; siblings, Sandy Hood, and Danny Thomas (Janice Thomas); sisters-in-law, Cindy Wolff and Vickie Filyaw; favorite niece Frankie Lynn Hunter (Lloyd Hunter) and many more nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025 at Simplicity Lowcountry, 281 Treeland Dr. Suite C, Ladson SC.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
