Sheena Jane Duryea, age 72, of Ladson, South Carolina, passed away on May 7, 2026.
Sheena was born on October 1, 1953. She lived a life filled with creativity, love, and devotion to her family. She was a talented crafter whose artistic spirit shone through everything she created. Whether she was sewing, painting, or designing her beloved handmade gnomes, Sheena found joy in bringing beauty and happiness to others through her work.
Throughout her life, Sheena was known for her kindness, creativity, and generous heart. She had a special gift for turning simple materials into treasured keepsakes and loved sharing her creations with family and friends. Her home was often filled with colorful projects, laughter, and the warmth of her welcoming spirit. She will be remembered not only for her artistic talents but also for the love, encouragement, and joy she brought to those around her.
Sheena is survived by her devoted husband, Lee Vaughn Duryea, her loving sister, Renee Bradley, her three daughters; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents and other loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest.
A celebration of Sheena's life will be held at her home on Saturday June 20, 2026. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the joy she brought into their lives.
