In Loving Memory of Tyler Lee Christian Davis
February 3, 1993 – May 27, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyler Davis, who passed away on May 27, 2026, in North Charleston, South Carolina, at the age of 33.
Born on February 3, 1993, Tyler lived a life defined by resilience, determination, adventure, and love. He was a devoted father, son, brother, grandson, and friend whose presence could light up a room and whose impact on the lives of others will be felt for years to come.
Tyler was known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and stubborn determination. He was exceptionally intelligent, talented, and resourceful, with an adventurous spirit that led him to embrace life with curiosity and enthusiasm. Whether he was exploring new places, helping a friend in need, or sharing a laugh with family, Tyler had a way of making every moment memorable.
A passionate motorcycle enthusiast, Tyler found freedom and peace on the open road. Riding was more than a hobby to him; it was a reflection of the way he lived life, embracing every opportunity to experience the world around him. His adventurous nature and fearless spirit inspired many who knew him.
One of Tyler’s greatest accomplishments was his journey of recovery and personal growth. As an addiction survivor, he became a beacon of hope for others battling similar struggles. Through his courage, honesty, and perseverance, he showed that recovery was possible and that a person’s past does not define their future. He inspired others to keep fighting, keep believing, and never give up. His strength and willingness to help others facing addiction will remain an enduring part of his legacy.
Above all else, Tyler loved his children. Braxton, Brailyn, and Brenna were the pride and joy of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them and spoke of them with immense love and pride. His greatest hope was to leave them with a legacy of strength, perseverance, and unconditional love.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Rees and Harry Lee Davis, Sr., and his great grandmother, Velma Cloe.
He leaves behind his beloved children, Braxton Davis, Brailyn Davis, and Brenna Davis; his parents, Harry Lee Davis, Jr., Rachael Palmer, Bill Palmer, and Rossana Davis, affectionately known as “Momma Dukes”; his bonus brother, Nadir J. Moore; his grandmothers Linda Givens, Ruby Rees; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends whose lives were forever touched by his presence.
Though our hearts are broken by this loss, we take comfort in the memories Tyler gave us, the lessons he taught us through his perseverance, and the love he shared so freely. He will be remembered for his strength in adversity, his unwavering loyalty to those he loved, his adventurous spirit, and his ability to make people smile even during difficult times.
Tyler’s life reminds us that redemption is possible, that strength can be found in vulnerability, and that every day is an opportunity to become a better version of ourselves. While his journey ended far too soon, the impact he made on those around him will continue for generations.
His memory will live on through the stories we tell, the lives he inspired, and the love he leaves behind.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
“The road may end, but the journey and the memories live on in the hearts of those who loved him.”
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 2 to 4 pm at Simplicity Lowcountry, Ladson Chapel 281 Treeland Dr. Suite C Ladson, SC 29456.
