Keith Unger Gordon passed away at the age of 85 on March 30, with her beloved dog, Sasha, by her side. She is now at peace, made whole by the grace and love of Jesus Christ.
Keith lived life on her own terms and in her own time. She loved her family greatly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gordon. She is survived by her brothers, H. Wayne "Bubba" Unger, Jr (Ellen) and Richard "Dickie" Unger (Kathy), her sons Marvin Lee Robertson, Jr, (Jennifer), Wayne Robertson (Virginia), Brian Robertson (Tonya), and John Dounian (Kristin), 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
She was born in Walterboro, SC, in 1940 to Henry Wayne Unger and Keith Jefferies Unger. She attended Walterboro High School, the University of Florida, and the University of South Carolina. She enjoyed her monthly lunches with her high school friends, playing Canasta, watching the birds in her yard, and her beloved dogs.
A Service of Witness to the Resurrection and Giving Thanks for Keith's Life will be held in the Westminster sanctuary on Wednesday, April 8 at 2:00p.m. A reception and opportunity to greet the family will follow the service.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Kay and Mikki, and the pastoral care team at Westminster Presbyterian Church, who were of immeasurable support to her during the last few years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, in Hollywood, SC, and Westminster Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC.
