Robert “Bobby” Edward Perryman Jr., 60, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on June 25, 2025. Born on September 1, 1964, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, Bobby lived a life full of energy, skill, and spirit.

He spent much of his life as a talented automotive painter, known for his craftsmanship and precision. For the last seven years, he worked at Mercedes Benz Vans as a Quality Control Specialist in their paint department — a role he carried out with pride and professionalism.

Bobby had a deep love for the water and was a phenomenal water skier in his younger days. He especially enjoyed boating adventures with his two black labs, Star and Cody. Known for his strong will and big personality, Bobby was always up for a good time, and those who knew him well will remember his infectious laugh when he was truly happy.

He was a member of Seacoast Church and a strong man of faith. In one of his final and most generous acts, Bobby fulfilled his wish to be an organ donor — giving three people a second chance at life. As he once said, “Once I’m in the arms of the Lord, I won’t have any use for my old body anymore.” His final gift was a powerful reflection of his heart and values.

A private family memorial and spreading of his ashes was held on the 4th of July by his daughters and family in a place that brought him peace and joy. The beautiful Lowcountry.
