Celebrating the Life of Shawn Kenyon

September 25, 1981 – July 15, 2026

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Kenyon, who left this world on July 15, 2026, at the age of 44.

Shawn was the kind of person who made an impression wherever he went. He had a quick wit, an unforgettable sense of humor, and a personality that naturally drew people in. He never met a stranger, and before long, strangers often became friends. Whether through a joke, a story, or simply his ability to make people feel welcome, Shawn had a gift for bringing smiles to those around him.

He worked as a crane operator at Allied Steel, where he built lasting friendships with many of the people he worked alongside. He appreciated those friendships and the people he shared his days with.

Above all else, Shawn loved his family. His greatest pride and joy was his son, Avin, whom he loved beyond measure. Nothing mattered more to him than knowing his son was happy, supported, and loved.

Shawn is survived by his beloved son, Avin; his wife, Jessica Kenyon; his father, Steven Kenyon; his stepmother, Nichole Kenyon; his brother, Robert Kenyon; his sister, Heather Kenyon; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Lewis, and his infant son, Konner.

Shawn’s legacy will live on in the countless stories that will continue to be told for years to come. Every laugh he shared, every life he touched, and every memory created with family and friends ensure that he will never truly be gone. Those stories will keep his spirit alive, reminding everyone fortunate enough to have known him of the joy, laughter, and love he brought into the world.

A celebration of Shawn’s life is being planned to honor the memories, laughter, and love he shared with so many. Family and friends will be notified once the arrangements have been finalized.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Shawn’s love, humor, and unforgettable spirit will remain with us always.
