Cynthia Nancy Cassile

Cynthia Nancy Cassile passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026 in the care of hospice at Generations of Chapin assisted living.

She was a native of Staten Island, NY and graduated Curtis High School. She worked as an Executive Secretary on Wall Street in NYC. She lived in Miami, Florida 32 years before becoming ill and moving to Columbia, SC to live with her sister, Nancy. She cherished her great niece, Abigail (4years old), who could always make Cindy smile.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Filomena Cassile of Staten Island, NY. Cindy will be remembered by her three sisters Nancy Ramicone (Columbia,SC), Phyllis Jacks (Chris) Miami,Fl, Margie Cassile McGuinness (Miami,Fl), Jeffrey Ramicone (Megan) nephew, Patrick McGuinness (nephew), Regina Beal (Ricky) (niece), Kristen Richards (Brian) (niece), Nicholas Jacks (nephew), Hilary Jacks (niece), Chelsea Jacks (niece), Abigail Beal (great niece), Parker Beal (great nephew), Marley Ramicone (great niece), Everett Richards (great nephew), Penelope Richards (great niece), August Fae (great nephew). Cindy will also be missed by her best friend Shirley Dreifus (Arizona) and her many other nieces and nephews from her previous marriage, many cousins and friends.

South Carolina Cremation Society will serve the family of Cynthia Cassile. A mass to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Interment will follow in the church columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Leeza’s Care Connection in Columbia, SC.
