Daniel DeMaio

In Loving Memory of Daniel DeMaio.

On July 5, 2026, the world grew quieter with the passing of Daniel DeMaio, who left us far too soon at the age of 31. Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, on June 28, 1995, Daniel lived with a heart that was as free as his spirit and a joy that seemed to follow him wherever he went.

Some people leave footprints. Daniel left light.

He believed life was meant to be lived with laughter, adventure, and an open heart. He was endlessly positive, wonderfully lighthearted, and never took life too seriously. Whether he was making someone laugh, chasing a new adventure, or simply enjoying the moment, Daniel had a way of reminding everyone around him that life was a gift meant to be embraced.

He never met a stranger only friends he hadn’t known yet. He collected people and memories the way others collect things, and somehow everyone who met him left feeling like they mattered. To say Daniel had many friends would be an understatement. He had hundreds. His kindness, warmth, and genuine love for people created friendships that will endure for a lifetime.

Daniel was a beloved son, a little brother, an appointed uncle, and a best friend to countless others. He leaves behind a family, more friends than most people make in a hundred years let alone 31, and a world made brighter because he was in it. 

Though his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and light he shared will live on in every story told, every smile remembered, and every heart fortunate enough to have known him.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever free.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Sandra Baca and his three sisters, Dana Peasley, Deanna Kolberg, and Jamie DeMaio.
