Diane Linnea Livingston, 74, of Warrenville, SC (formerly of Catlin, IL) passed away peacefully at home on January 30th, 2025.
Diane was born in Danville, IL on November 3, 1950. She was the daughter of Dale and Mildred (Lewis) Belt and the sister of Sandra Pruett.
She met the love of her life, Larry Ray Livingston, in high school and they were married on March 4, 1972. He preceded her in death in 2022.
Diane and Larry were blessed to have several loving and rambunctious children. Three were biological and three were added blessings: Jedediah (Christie) Livingston of O’Fallon, IL, Joshua (Jennifer) Livingston of Beaufort, SC, Elizabeth Livingston of Warrenville, SC, Kim (Christopher) Terry of Weehawken, NJ, Melissa (Chad) Roach of Georgetown, IL, and Jeremy Dines of Danville, IL.
Diane was the grandmother of Anslie, Elias, Samuel, Chastian, Chance, Cole, Cooper, Cy, Chaz, Shay, Zack, Jackson and Jeffrey; the aunt of Tom, Sheri, Kelli, and Charles; and the great-aunt of Maci and Alexandria.
She was a mother figure to countless people in her life and held a special place in her heart for each of them until the end.
Diane had a gift for making people feel loved and her patience was extraordinary. She was an educator for over 35 years. It was her calling and she often said she was blessed to have enjoyed her entire career.
