Joseph Lawrence Frederich Jr., 82, of Leesville, SC, passed away on May 29, 2025.
He was born to Joseph Lawrence Friedrich Sr. and Beatrice Nichols Friedrich on March 14, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA.
He worked for many years at Union Switch and Signal before retiring to a quiet life in Leesville where he continued to pursue his love of restoring of cars.
Every year he dressed up as Santa Claus and handed candy canes out to kids and coworkers alike.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Karen Lagnese.
‘Larry’ was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his three children, Alisa (Mike) True, Eric (Chris) Friedrich, and Brandie Friedrich, as well as four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous friends and relatives.
He was a truly wonderful man that will be missed by all.
