Regina Ann Koder
Oct 5, 1952 — Jul 27, 2026
Regina (Gina) Koder, born on October 5, 1952 in Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family on July 27, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and unwavering generosity that touched many lives.
Gina, was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald Rathburn and Mary (Gosser) Musshel, of Ohio.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Lisa A. Bowen (Jerry) Bluffton, SC, and her son, Troy A. Nissen, of Columbia, SC. Gina was also the proud grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Gina dedicated her life to caring for others. As a licensed massage therapist in the Columbia area, she owned and operated her own massage studio, where she used her talents to bring comfort, healing, and relief to so many people. Her caring nature extended far beyond her profession. She had a special place in her heart for animals and spent much of her time helping and caring for them. Gina was truly selfless, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need without expecting anything in return.
Above all else, Gina cherished her family. She found her greatest happiness through spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Her kindness, strength, generosity, and unconditional love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though Gina’s presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, clients, and all who were blessed to know her.
The family would like to extended their gratitude to the Prisma Health Richland care team, for their care and compassion during this time, with extra love for nurse Paula.
