Timothy Robert Wilkendorf, 64, passed away June 25, 2026, from natural causes in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

A memorial service was held on June 29 in Funchal, Maderia, Portugal by a brother who lives there, and on July 13 in Mendota Heights, Minnesota where Timothy worked for many years. Memorial services and spreading of ashes will take place in Fort Worth and Scotland at a later date.

Timothy was a loving brother, son, grandson, uncle, great-uncle and friend. He was born in Houston, Texas as the 8th of 9 siblings. The family moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1967 where he lived until moving to Saint Paul, Minnesota in 2007. He attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas to study for a divinity degree. Though he did not complete that study, he did live in service to others, ministering to them by providing comfort, inspiration, and above all, humor. He also attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He became a professional photographer and a bronze sculptor in addition to his hospitality career with Marriott hotels where his loving dedication touched the lives of so many. He was a member of the Dorothy Shaw Bell Choir for 7 years, performing around the world in the 1970s to early 80s. He also composed and recorded many pieces of calming music on piano and synthesizer, which he hoped would someday be used in film soundtracks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert McGregor Wilkendorf and Laura Jean Murphy Wilkendorf.

Survivors: sisters, Suzanne Wilkendorf Bartoo Piccola and husband, Anthony, Patricia Lynn Wilkendorf, and Priscilla Wilkendorf VanHoose Nix and husband, Richard; brothers, Peter Mitchell Wilkendorf and wife, Sharon, Stephen Michael Wilkendorf and wife, Kristen Desbien, Philip Gregory Wilkendorf, Jonathan Alan Wilkendorf, and Andrew Albert Wilkendorf; nephew, Robert Shaun Bartoo; nieces, Aondrea Leigh Bartoo, and Heather Michelle Pecora Wilkendorf Forrest and husband, George; and great-nephews, Brendan Maloney-Bartoo, Liam Gregory Maloney-Bartoo, and Arthur James McGregor Forrest.

His latest words of wisdom were, "Speak kindly to each other, express love for each other, and live with conscious awareness and caring rather than just superficially living on autopilot."
