David Saunders Jr

David Saunders, Jr., loving husband and father, passed away on 2/22/26. David was born on 2/27/1929 in Paterson, New Jersey and later moved with his family to Winter Haven in 1972. As a young man, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Palau.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Alvina Saunders. He was also preceded in death by his parents, David and Mary Saunders and brother, Thomas.

He had a great love of his Goldwing motorcycle where he and his wife traveled on all over the country, trout fishing, golf, and dancing with his wife.

He leaves behind his three children—a daughter Kimberly Gandy (Robert) and two sons— Keith (Kim) and Thomas (Cindy), seven grandchildren Jacob (Hannah), Jordan, Cole (Erielle), Dallas (Erin), William (Lexie), Lyndsay (Jonathan) and Kailey and eleven great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kinley, Emmarie, Addysyn, Abel, John Walker, Sadie, Harper, Harlow, Wrenley, and Willow.

His memorial remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 10th from Noon until 2pm at Garden Grove Oaks Clubhouse in Winter Haven, Fl.
