Eldora Anderson, 90, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida.

Born on September 12, 1934, in Cannelton, Indiana, Eldora lived a life full of love, adventure, and determination. She was preceded in death by her beloved partner, Jim Ewin, and her brothers, David, Dean, Don, and Jim Thompson.

Eldora is survived by her five daughters with the late Paul Anderson—Linda Wilkey, Kathy Anderson, Paula Weil, Suzanne Aswell, and Esther Davis and her two stepdaughters daughters with late partner James Ewin - Sandy Hopkins and Sherrie Allender. Eldora was also the beloved grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

A beautiful and devoted partner, mother, grandmother, and friend, Eldora was also a successful and spirited businesswoman. Her entrepreneurial ventures included Real estate agent, Ownership of athletic shoe store and  partnered  of Ewin- Greyhound Farm, all of which showcased her drive and creativity.

Eldora was known for her heartfelt handwritten notes that reminded you just how much she cared. She had a special talent for bringing people together, especially during her unforgettable Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve celebrations. She found great joy spending time on the lake in Winter Haven, where many cherished memories were made.

Eldora’s warmth, strength, and legacy will continue to live on through the lives of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
