James Cleon Stephens

James Cleon Stephens, 81, of Lake Wales, Fl passed away 3/20/26 in Lakeland, FL.

Born 7/2/1944, in Lakeland, Fl. He was the son of Cleon and Annie Mae Stephens. He retired from the IBEW where he worked as an electrician.

Beyond his professional career, James found joy in DIY projects around the house, fishing and his family. In his later years, he joined several veterans motorcycle clubs and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with fellow veterans.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cleon and Annie Mae Stephens, and his daughter Tina Alderman. He is survived by his siblings Jeanne Harper, Nora Connell, Mary Helen Harper, Charles Stephens, and Gerald Stephens, his wife Rosey Stephens, his children Brian Fox and Patricia Stephens, his grandchildren, Kimber Lee, Erica Alderman, Jessica Moye, Alicia Alderman, and Crista Lee, and 10 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bok Tower Gardens, Magnolia Room on 8/8/26 at 1:00pm.
