Donald B. Love

Donald B. Love, age 89, passed away on June 20, 2026. Don was born in New York, where he graduated from Walden High School and was part of the New York National Guard. He married Jane on June 15, 1957. He worked for Central Hudson Power Company while attending night school to become an Electrical Engineer. Don and Jane moved to Idaho in 1974. He accepted a job with Idaho Power Company and retired in 1994. After retiring and moving to Emmett, Don continued to grow a variety of crops. He loved the outdoors including hunting, camping, hiking and fishing. He will be remembered as a beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Great Uncle.

Don is preceded in death by his wife Jane and survived by his two adult children and their spouses Keith and Debbie Love and Thad and Wendy Mason, his Grandson Kevin Love, Granddaughter Becky Liang and her spouse Sean Liang, and their three children (Don’s Great Grandchildren).

Funeral services will be held at Eagle Hills Church in Eagle, Idaho on Wednesday, July 01, 2026, at 10:30am.
