Becky Rice

Rebecca “Becky” Rice born June 17th, 1960, died June 6th, 2026 in Boise, Idaho.

A beloved sister and aunt, Becky touched many lives in her 65 years. Becky did her best in spite of her disabilities and was a kind and caring person. She had an inner beauty that shined through in spite of her pain.

Becky loved doing artwork, enjoying flowers, and her collection of dolls. She enjoyed her mother Betty’s pet birds and her puppy dog. Becky’s favorite movie was spiderman and it brought her much joy and comfort near the end of her life. One of her exciting accomplishments was participating in the Special Olympics and receiving a ribbon for swimming.

Becky is preceded in death by her mother Betty Aldunate and her father Mac Rice. She leaves behind her sister Sheryl Link, nephew Chris Link, sister Marcie Etheridge, brother Mike Rice, and various extended family.

Becky was a gentle soul. She persevered through a lifelong struggle with various disabilities and overcame much in her time here. She will be remembered fondly and dearly missed.

Services will be held on Wednesday June 24th, 2026 at 3pm in the Summers Funeral Home Chapel. Located at: 3629 E Ustick Road, Meridian, Idaho 83646
