Gloria Ann Hartley

Gloria Ann Hartley was born April 22, 1940 in Jacksonville, Florida. She departed this world on March 25, 2026 from Sun City Center, Florida to her peace in heaven. In addition to being mother of four children, she worked as a custom seamstress and 10 years as a special needs school bus driver for the Georgia's Forsyth County School system. She often lived in the Southern states through her lifetime and circled back to Florida where she was born and raised. She displayed her proud Florida roots through her shell collection, palm trees, and statues of the Florida brown pelican. She showed her love through her creative sewing, southern cooking, and expert gardening.
She is survived by her brother, Leonard Hartley, four children, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Respectively: From North Florida - Bruce (son) & Kenna Smith, Kenneth (grandson) & Allie Smith, Leia Smith (great granddaughter); From North Georgia - Peggy (daughter) & John Saemisch, Yvonne Saemisch (granddaughter), Everson Saemisch (great grandson), Connie Saemisch (granddaughter); From Middle Tennessee – Brian (son) & Glenda Smith, Rachel Smith (granddaughter), Jonathan (grandson) & Zoey Smith, Ian Smith (great grandson), Hannah Smith (granddaughter); From Southern California - Paul Elliott Smith (son) & David Pratt.
