Helene Norma Safti-Reich

Helene Norma Safti-Reich, 73, of Apollo Beach passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at her home in South Shore Falls. Born July 29, 1952, and raised in NYC, she is preceded in death by her parents, Isidore and Matilda Braunstein Safti. Helene is survived by her husband, Steven D Reich, by her stepson Scott Reich and wife Abbie, and her beloved grandsons, Elijah and Dimitri. She also has cousins; Halette, Lori, and Bobby. Lifelong friend Kamal and Godson, Tony Chauhan, who called often and was a source of joy to her.

Helene was a very independent, resourceful and loving individual. She was always a welcoming face when you went up to our clubhouse. She belonged to several clubs and groups and encouraged others to participate. Some of her favorites were: Dominos, Hand & Foot, Mexican Train, Mahjongg, and of course Wednesday evening BINGO and her lucky $2 bill! SSF Woman’s Social Club luncheons and the many evenings of entertainment at the Clubhouse were a must; which she enjoyed with her husband and dear friends. 

She not only loved life and had a great sense of humor; she enjoyed travel, dining out, dancing, trying something new, and many of God’s creatures. Helene will be remembered fondly for her genuine friendship and generosity. Rest in Peace and Dance with the Angels
